@Zacay: How come you get a special deal by 3?
According to 3 it will come in june, due to not finished software testing session. Can't be that awful, should just be happy to get a finished phone instead of what all other 3's phones are... not ready

Maybe SE realized that the Z1010 will never make it...so they might be putting it off until they can get the rumored Z1020 out instead.
If they're smart and cut their losses in time on the Z1010... they might've learned from it already, and instead of turning their customers into guinea pigs (like with the P800) ... they might just scrap that Z1010 as a prototype... then release a final, and hopefully STABLE Z1020 instead!!! (fingers crossed, on my knees praying!
)

If they scrap it at this point, it'll give out a bad impression that SE cant cut it with 3G phones. Considering Vodafone is using SE and Samsung only to launch 3G in Europe, it'll be a big blow to SE.

Just got off the phone to a friend who has a mate in 3. Typical cliche but this guy is no bullshitter and I simply pass on what I hear. The chap from 3 had a Z1010, he said a few members of staff are testing it out and it is a nice piece of kit. He found it thick, but didn't feel it was much worse that the E616, he actually found it quite easy to handle, mind you he has Goliath's hands. He did say it seemed smaller!!! 3 are hoping to release it in the next 4 weeks, but due to possible price, it will be in short supply. This coroborates the words of a 3 retailer, so let's see mid-June a long stop date for us all?

Not really... if they scrap the Z1010 and release a better Z1020 (or whatever comes next) in it's place right away, it will be better than all the existing 3G crap that other manufacturers released just for the sake of it.
The problem with 3G is that everyone wants to cash in on the next 'GSM' wave. With that, everyone is releasing bugged up crap, both on the network side, and the manufacturers side. They're using us as beta-testers and we're paying top-dollar for defective, and unstable systems and terminals.
Now, some of you may be willing to pay for that. Good for you. I for one, am sick of it already. We're getting defective stuff we can't use and paying 4x more for it? Sorry... I've had enough of that crap from Intel and nVidia. I don't need it from SE.
3G subscribers total what? A few thousand people globally? I'd rather get a handset that has all the features my P800 has and more (with emphasis on the MORE) rather than a basic phone that just has bragging rights to say it's on a 3G network, and can't even give me 2 days of standby time.

Yeah but SE have said this phone is coming. If they upgrade it to a new handset (which they have kinda done) without changing the looks ok. Changing the design would be a bad thing. Either way its bad for SE.
