do you mean what they do as most phone do the same thing and i dont think you can knock a company for wanting to put a bit more into a phone ala se and moto(if thats what your knocking them for)

umm well i guess there's going to be a big price difference, i mean motorolo plus expandable memory, so i don't think you can really compare them.... anyway none is out so you can't really judge....
oh and @bart: motorolas history is actually one of the best
they were the pioneirs of mobile phones and they were the best some time ago, oh and motorola has new menus in their new range so.... and about the radio, i don't see anything bad about that, i mean no one said anything about the lack of radio in t610 vs 7250i and still t610 is a better phone than 7250i! the only thing that's bad about it is the ir and that is becoming less popular all the time, i mean almost all new "gadgets" have bt, from pc's, pda's, phones etc

and i don't think it looks like t630.... not even the silver one, the red white one looks a little similar to t100 but nothing more only because of the colours...

Although I am a hardcore SE guy, I would definetely buy a Motorola over a Nokia phone. I think Motorola this year is amazing, just look all the new models they announced. They will bit Nokia for sure in the next year or so.
Concerning now the two phones, I would get the K700 I like it more, but the E398 is ok too. As I said better than any Nokia.

I wouldn't say no to this one but now SE K700 exist and there is absolutely nothing in Motorola E398 I want but its external memory.
Bad construction quality or just the picture which is messed up a bit?
Take a look on its battery cover.
