In reference to the >1.5megs thing, i seem unable to use any file bigger than 300Kb, including any images, or web pages.

I'm using the O2 GPRS Wap portal, paying nothing, and browsing using the P800 inbuilt browser.

On my laptop it's definately 1.5Mb. Downloads just terminate when they get to ~1.5Mb. Files larger than 1.5Mb normally they just flash up as "Download Completed" when they get to 1.5Mb transferred, when they're not completed, resulting in either an unusable or incomplete file, depending what I'm downloading. Tried download accelerators/resumers like GetRight etc. but haven't made any difference. My guess is that perhaps the wonderful HTTP proxy doesn't support resume requests.

I reguarly download 700, 800kb PDF files and they always download fine first time.

Grrr. On a side note this limit also seems to be enforced on CSD WAP (915000), but at least all ports are open on that number, even if it is only 9.6kbps.

I too had problems with o2 pop3 with an online sim. But got round it by using the ip address for incoming and outgoing server (193.113.160.13) instead of mail.o2.co.uk or whatever it's supposed to be. This message was posted from a T610
