I have the same problem with my z710. Except my aftermarket car charger works. This only happens when I use the original charger that came with the phone. Weird

i couldn't find an answer on search so here goes. i was charging my T610 using a car charger when, after a while, i got this alert msg, "Charging error. Stop charging!". is there a problem with the car charger or my phone?
Yip got that with my K810 its the charger, another charger worked fine, but that partucular charger gives the message on all SE phones.

i am also having similar problem on my k790i , tough i am using original sony charger and the problem has come after more than 2 years of error free usage , i also checked the output voltage and ampere rating of the original charge which i am using...voltage is proper (near 5 volts ) but not amperes , i am getting nearly 500mA ( instead of 700mA , as stated in the charger
), dont know if this is the problem., but my phone is getting charged by data cable when connected to pc without any error....so i guess there something in the charger only about 500mA output...and not mobile or battery.
interestingly, in My Phone Explorer software (in the monitor option)...the charging voltage is 4.10 Volts and amperes if 500 mA
