no worries with being able to master touchscreen then getting difficulties getting back. I use 2 devices right now (PDA and an SE t68i) and i must say that it doesnt bother me to use touchscreen and joystick.
so correct me if im wrong, the color on t610 and the color on p800 doesnt differ that much?

You couldn't get used to going back to buttons after a touch screen??? They are two different things, though! The PDA's have applications and so much different stuff that they need touch screens. I can understand that it'd be annoying to go back to buttons, but to not be able to get used to them, yeesh. Especially with menu shortcuts that are linked to the keypad. Yeesh.

T610's got 65k colors while the P800 got 4k colors

yeah but that's not the only thing that matter, i for one find the p800 screen MUCH MUCH better than t610 screen....
1. p800- tft / t610 -stn (tft is a lot better for fast movement and viewing it in the sun)
2.p800- 208*320 /t610 128*160 (a crisper image)
3. it's bigger!!!

anyway if you are going to decide on the screen, really take a look at both while playing games etc and in different conditions and you will notice tha colours really don't matter that much.....

oh and p800 is a lot better feature wise, but the real question is doy preffer a pda t610 combo or a p800? OR do you REALLY need the p00 features.... i mean don't buy p800 just for playing games, lol

no worries im not addicted to games. im very sorry for not realizing the screen built and difference. I've only tested BOTH phones in a local store so I haven't checked viewing it under the sun.
i really DO prefer having an all-in-one device but if it's not worth it to have, i have to choose other options.
the P900 is really amazing when i checked it out too, but the PRICE, is also AMAZING. I believe if I should take the P800 for now it would be a wise choice but lotsa people keep telling me to check the T610 carefully first before I run off and buy the P800.
that's why decision is very confusing right now.. (

It sounds to me like you'd like a PDA type of phone, so id say go with the P800.

However, if i were you, id treat myself and push the boat out that little bit further to get a P900, you can get them quite cheap in some places (for the same price sim free you'd pay for them on contract, but dont have to pay £30p/m) so its worth shopping around.

This is like comparing an Audi A3 or a VW Golf with a McLaren F1

I think the organizer features of the t610 are often overlooked. I use it all the time, couldn't live without it.

The real issue here is that no matter what phone you get, you are gonna wonder what life would be like with a different phone. I say buy 'em all. I know I want to.
