I think O2 is having a bit of a go-slow this evening! A mate texted me at 20.25 this evening, and I actually got the text at 23.00! Normally, texts sent/recieved are almost instantaneous.

I switched from O2 to Orange mainly because their signal is better where I live, but I would otherwise have stayed with Orange - they're similar pricewise - but calls/texts are a lot cheaper with Orange (you have to subscribe to O2's ITS service to get anywhere near Orange's roaming prices), customer services were always excellent, and you could get delivery reports on text messages without having to put that '*0#' at the start of the message!!

If Orange's signal was better where I live, I would probably switch back to them as soon as my contract came up. In fact, my old Orange contract number I got re-connected as a pay as you go to use in a spare phone!

Ergo, I recommend Orange to you, cheap(ish) but definitely cheerful. Failing that - have you thought about the 3 network? £15 topup on 3Pay gets you either 100 x-net minutes & 1.50 of video content, or 25 mins xnet mins & 100 SMS's, and £1.50 video content.

Why not try t-mobile? Decent prices for phones, cheap calls and text. Plus there coverage is as good as any other network! :-) This message was posted from a Nokia

Im not switching yet because my parents wont let me go on contract because they dont want me getting a huge phone bill. I will be switching to t mobile on the mix it contract because you cant get a bill higher than the monthly line rental unless you top up :-D This message was posted from a T610

In terms of functions, services and coverage i would say that orange are by far the best. They are more expensive though!
