i did try it ages ago when they were 99p i filled in all the sections e.g address etc etc but it wouldnt let me buy hopefully it will work this time

Hello!
The O2 Sim Card (also know as Genie Sim) has 300 Free SMS and Wap minutes. The information provided which can help get it for free without topping up does work, even though the date changing has no effect on O2. Who knows if it manipulates O2 to get it to you for free? As long as it does the job, then it is OK. I have used the trick so far and it works. You need to make sure that when you get your Sim Card, that you do an initial top-up and then after one month, or when your next top-up is due, (which should be your next anniversary date) you top it up again. Then afterwards, you can do the trick and it works. I have had no problems whatsoever with it so far.

the link emlo87 has given is correct and by the looks of it, its not only for today coz that link has definitely been around for a week at least if not more. Btw it can take upto 28 days for delivery and you are only allowed a maximum of 6 sims per household.
