So it really means that even if there is a drop it is
actualyfalse. So shld I switch off at nite to make it last long ??

In general, don't rely to much on the battery power indicator of mobile phones. The algorithms used to calculate the remaining battery power are most certainly quite complicated. They have to take several very different parameters into account: the ratio between standby- and talktimes, the signal strength, the temperature, ...
And remember, it's just an indicator!

edit: i jus noticed the ph said batt fulll...then i removed plug and inserted again to check. It started again charging fer 5mins or so and then stopped... so now wht shld i do? jus switch it on or try again to chg???

@ayush thats ok if the battery cover comes hardly down, thats normal and shows it in good condition. dont worry about the 'recharging' aswell, thats ok. nice to see how excited u are
