How much is it a month though as O2 give 200mins calls, 500text, 500min wap + free insurance for 3 months.

O2 site says my phone has been dispatched so should have in 2 days or so, though they also say check the email we sent you, which they haven't, so i have no tracking number for the courior. This was said 6hours ago and i still don't have the email.

@paris:

I had a look at the onestopphoneshop site, deals look really good but they're advertising handsets that haven't been released yet (e.g. k700i on Orange - even Orange's own online store still says "coming soon") and they say nothing about that before you place the order. Makes me a bit wary of them to be honest, especially as they say you need their permission to cancel an order! Also, from their T&Cs:

"All free gifts are subject to a clearance period, and are sent under separate cover, 120 days after purchasing your equipment."

So you could see your bluetooth headset etc. in about 3 months....

i ordered my k700i from o2 online on friday. it came today. i had no email confirming my order either so its not vital. what i did have to do was keep ringing to get them to hurry up the credit check. within a day of them doing it , i had the phone.

its lovely btw

Ordered a K700 from O2 online last Friday 18/06/04 (free on £30/month contract). Received DHL docket yesterday so drove to the depot (25 mile round trip) very excited only to find that they had sent me a Samsung E700!!!!! Have had about an hour on the phone them today (half of that on their 50ppm line) and I've been told that the phone has been ordered again 3 times only to now be called back and told I need to ring retentions and cancel my original contract (!!!) and then ring sales to order the phone again before they will send it to me.
They have offered to credit me for the time I've spent on the 0906 number as long as I fax them a copy of my phone bill but have told me I won't get a penny for the other cost of driving 25 miles (although I'll have to do it again if my proper phone ever turns up) and for my time wasted. They've literally accused me of lying about what I ordered, saying I must have made a mistake on the Internet ordering (I ordered over the phone), and also that I should have responded straight away to the order e-mail I must have got (which I didn't, yes you did, no I didn't) that would have stated Samsung E700 was ordered.
This has been the biggest pile of turd customer service I have ever encountered, the only thing stopping me from cancelling right away is that it's already cost me a decent sum and I've had nothing in return yet. That and I don't know where else to get it this week with as good a deal.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Certainly won't be getting any recommendations from me.

Rant over.
Apologies.

I just ordered mine from them this morning over the phone - the website wouldn't accept my address. They seemed extremely helpful and friendly on the phone, but that's maybe because nothing has gone wrong yet

Vodafone didn't seem bothered to lose my custom at all - they offered me a "special deal" that involved paying them £200 more than O2, so unsurprisingly I said goodbye to them.

I just got mine from an o2 store in london. Very pleased with the phone. Also, just like to mention that there is an offer on at the moment. I got the o2 Media player thrown in free (with 64mb sd card).
Apparently its free with most phones this month!

@ alFR

true on that dont blaim ya, but i have ordered form them before and i am happy. my local stores did not have the k700 yet but onestopshoneshop have them and sending them today. It only takes a call to cancel an order so no problems for me. Also the gift as well as cash back that most shops advertise are the same deal, they give them in 3 or even more months.

got mine from o2 today. Only slight menu customisation on the top right icon. 36mb free, but pre stuff might be deletable, i havn't tried. Billing seems a bit weird at the moment but will hopefully be sorted soon.
