Yeah, mines exactly like that pic.

Well i dont really mind but this guys wants to swap a nokia 6600 for it, the only problem is the flip and if i can get it fixed he will swap..

How much did it cost you guys to fix?

cost to fix it will be like 5usd. and it can be fixed with 1/2 hours.

I believe it does have the tendency to become loose, i think its just normal for clamshell phones.

I have changed 4 Z 600's in 4 months..Yeah a couple of them had loose Flips even though they were tight when I got them..The Indian Service Center SALORA-India preferred to replace the phone's rather than the flips..

Yeah it isnht critical but i can trade up to a nokia 6600 for free.. and anyone would agree that it is worth it even it is a nokia . ~2mb of memory just doesnt really cut the mustard.

I went to the place i got it from and they said its not coverd and comes under normal wear and tear and it costs NZ$40 (US$16 or 17) just for them to send it off and get their contractor to check it out and an onother who knows how much to get it fixed.

Are sony products coverd by some "international" warranty? I had it parallel imported you see. I have the europian version.
I was thinking of bringing it to the shop that sony contracts to fix the mobiles, they should know what to do with it shoudlnt they?
