its a small bug that suddenly appeared. SE is working on it and a new firmwear will be ready soon, which will also solve some other bugs.

So when can we expect a firmware upgrade to be available for the K700i?

Try this....

- Run the battery down.
- Turn the backlight to automatic (not power save) so that the light goes off when charging.
- Switch the phone off.
- Charge it for 10+ hours overnight

I did this and it instantly more than doubked the battery life I was getting.

I've had my K700i for ten days now. The first week the battery was a real joke. It had nothing to do with what some people call a bug in the battery indicator. My phone has no bug in the indicator since it turns itself off shortly after reaching empty.

However, the last 3-4 days I haven't charged the phone even though I use it as I did when I had to charge it every day! I don't know why, but the battery do get better and better after charging it many times.

Important to know is that several times I charged it 8-10 hours.

It's well known that batterys get better after being charged several times, but I have never experienced such a big difference with any other battery.

As I said before, make sure you turn the backlight to automatic rather than powersave to ensure that the light goes out during charging. This made an instant difference to me.

Perhaps it's because with the backlight on the phone isnt actually charging as quickly as you think it is?

I have mine 10 days as well.I haven't really see any major improvements in battery life.Depending of the kind of use i do the most it lasted was 2 days.Ussualy lasts 1-1.5 days.
Not satisfactory but i got used to that from my P800 that it lasted about the same.

My charges were pretty good from i got it. Not as good as 4 days of continous run while playing but like 2-3 days.
