The SE update service offers a list of changes for each new firmware, as an option when i tells you what the latest firmware for your cda is.

I checked from the Sony Ericsson's website and it says that my firmware is the latest.
Organiser : R5A09
CDA : R5A09
Is it the same with others?

For CDA 162003/1, the latest organiser version is R5B02.

For CDA 162003/1, the latest organiser version is R5B02.
Do you have the link to the website that has the update?
I've check the sony ericsson Malaysia's website and it shows me that this is the latest.
Which website did you get your updates from?

Hey guys...
I'm either stupid or ... stupid.
Have been trying for three days now to update the firmware but I am still unable to do it. The SE site keeps popping me out to the international site. Either I choose the manual or the automatic update, the result is the same.
Any ideas?

I found that i needed to be useing IE to use the automatic update doesnt work with firefox it boots me back to the main page like your getting. Also i need to have installed the Java runtimes before i try to update. Otherwise it again just dumps me out it should down load the runtimes autmatically but this is not the case all the time. But if your useing IE it should take you to the correct pages once it stops being an arse to load

Used IE and was able to proceed further, still once I checked the boxes regarding type of PC, batery of cellular etc and pushed next I was transferred to another window that did nothing.
Pls explain the thing about the Java applet.

Is this really the lastest firmware?
