@sentertainment i mean its possible at any provider or operator. Even in my t-mobile acc had some. Called my operator and asked, why dont they set a anti-spam in their centre against infected mails. They suggested me to change my acc and get a new user name. Wow! So much about t-mobile...

Gmail is BAAAAAD dont use it! Its nothing but a data miner's dirty trick to further the sinister aims of USA 'intelligence'. If you use gmail for personal mail youre a fool.
I gotta ask...... I am fully aware of the alleged security risks with google as a company. read

Now here's my question: does anybody here
truly believe that companies such as microsoft do NOT track you around the net???
And how may people have a .net passport?? With their paypal (financial data), their ebay (purchases and interest), their MSN messenger (social contacts) and their hotmail addy all in one? How anonymous do we really think we are???
Why is any other online info company better than another???
Anybody who thinks they're 'safe' from trcking by not using gmail is just as much a fool.
I truly do not think it's worse than any other big online firm
And I truly LIKE gmail ...... ads or no ads. something I didn't think I'd ever say beforehand.

it's still in beta phase, but it should be out soon. I'm using it and am quite satisfied. I have a hotmail acount as well, but I'm not really using it anymore cos spam (at least 30 mails per day) totally fills up my available space and relevant mails wouldn't even reach my inbox.

Why anyone would use hotmail is beyond me. Everyone i know that has hotmail is plagued with spam, and so much of it. They are just TOO lazy to change. My hotmail address i have never given anyone, just used Messenger and somehow fills up with hundreds of sh!t mail. Yahoo Mail is the only decent one out there, and they now give you 100Mb along with all their other great benefits. Yahoo, everyone should join.

I use Gmail and I see no problem with it. Many users are adamant that their policy of using a COMPUTER to search for keywords in your mail is wrong. If thats what you feel then do not use gmail. I find it helpful that in certain emails I can have a banner that shows relative websites to certain keywords in my mail. Spam? What spam? ive received no spam at all since using gmail and thats been over 2 months now. I have noth hotmail and yahoo and the amount of spam I receive (especially in yahoo) is unbelievable.
The only thing I would say I don't like is that unlike yahoo and hotmail Gmail thus far have no virus checker implemented in their mail system. However, since it is in its beta phase, this will probably change.

Gmail isn't open to the public yet...only testers have access, but they sued to have it where you could get invited by another user; but I heard they got rid of that as too many people were using it to make money!
