Well maybe I'm totally wrong ' bout this but aint it always four zeros to pair the phone and the dongle?Sorry been thinkin' one more time and now I see the probe here.Had a mess findin' the key myself to my MSI but it should be sent from another company than MSI but you can find the info on MSI clobal site under bluetooth (communications).
The security code is "any" four digits you want it to be. It "can" be four zeros if you want to, but as I said, you can choose any digits as you want when doing the pairing. If you have/get a K700i, don't forget to pair "from" the phone, otherwise the phone will come to a total freeze (just wanted to mention the last part so you avoid more problems in this matter).
The security code is always choosen when doing the pairing. Meaning that there is never a default one built into the dongle that you have to remember if you do a repairing.

Do you mean search for devices then initiate pairing from the phone to the computer? I haven't found that my phone freezes, I have just found that every new time I try any connections I have to re-pair it, as it were.
Have you found any other bugs in the k700i? I found a couple, the tennis game flashes up something every now and again, looks like the ea symbol to me, although it could be subliminal messaging.
also i've had a bit of trouble sending pictures via bluetooth to a T610, any thoughts?

Hi all, I'm very glad I've found this forum and I greet you all.
Jamesward, can you tell me please how did you manage?
I have the same problem, on the MSI box there is a Transceiving key which seems to be useless. When I executed the Address Reader I got 12 zeros. I've completed the fields on MSI site but the amswer is always "According to the BD address, your device is not from MSI".
I've sent them 2 emails but no answer.
Any ideea? Thanks a lot.

@simontalk
When did you try the MSI webpage and what exact address did you use. It keeps giving me the autoreply that broadcom has problems and they are trying to resolve them and thus I get no security key.
