Probably not about speed, I have the DSS-25 and the speed is about 1/3 or bluetooth

Difference between DSS-20 and DSS-25 is just appearance.

The USB speed should be at least as fast if not a lot faster than bluetooth. If it isn't, go to your device manager and change the bps to 115200.

you need to doublecheck your settings (specifically the speed) coz that is just NOT right, it should be way faster!
