The diferences i know about are the design, screen, my friends, the option in the camera to make pics bigger (480x640), and overall performance: slightly faster menus, java runs better (as mentioned before).
Here, in Portugal, the prices are like this:
t630: €240 (in optimus)
t610: €220 (in vodafone)
IMO it's worth the €20 for the t630.

Yes, in my country it seems to me z 600 is cheaper. T 630 is newer phone.
