T28 and r320 was the only fones it worked perfect. I miss it too, more the idea, what was great, unfortunately on later models it was for no use.

No, it was for no use, but a bit better then on t68. I use mine with different batteries, li-ion and li-pol, maybe the ion is a bit more stabil. Think screensaver is the only feature what could be disturbing for the batt on r520.

@atlis donnow, but i think screensaver mode takes less energy then the normal standby. By constantly switching the modes the batt has to recalibrate itself and it could cause the weird result at sb and talk time. At colour display fones the same imo + more energy use next to greyscale.
