100m that would be better. Firmware can be the same but servo has to be replaced. So one problem less...

Basically, I see no problem about it. powered wheels will be used for sailing with prop and steering for steering - could be done by few pieces of plastic, flexible material and rods... No problem for plastic kits modeller.
