I use a Ericsson T39m as I have had plenty all singing, all dancing color phones-but ditched them because they were too flash for me. The T39m has everything I need from Infared to Bluetooth. A phone should call and text not replace all other gadgets you have. Long live Retro Phones

I was looking for this thread recently but couldn't find it!
I've had another of those 'retro' periods, been using an 8310, 6310i, and recently a Nokia 6600 and currently having a play with an S700i I recently fixed, reminded me how good a phone this was (and still is!)
@tizzicle - so you're more of a 'one gadget for each use' person rather than a 'jam everything into one device' kinda person? I tend to be more of a 'jam everything into one device' person, but sometimes hanker after the days when a phone was for texting and calls only, I have a 3310 I'm tempted to used for a few days too!
btw, quick plug but I'm selling a T39m on Ebay at the moment if anyone's interested

A while ago i took a Motorola Startac 7200 to the pub. It got a few weird looks when I made a call. It doesnt even send text messages.

I still carry with me my old

T68i (replaced all new covers/keypad and battery) . . . and still am happy everytime I make a call. During the recent years, I always see to it that I carry with me a Nokia 6510 (one of the smallest with compact-functionality that I had for years . . .) ever reliable !

I think you mean the 8110 I think it was, the 'banana' slider phone as the 'matrix' phone, the 7610 was the megapixel phone with the two curved edges, not a bad phone that though!
I've got an old T68i, was going to sell it but don't think I will now, forgotten how good a phone it is!
