using the latest version of s-man, i have found where the start-up and shut-down animations are stored- they can be deleted! but what i want to know is, cus they are .mp4, can i change the animation or will it definately not work?! they appear to be stored on the A drive aswell!

Im with vodafone, my phone came unlocked, whether its unlocked or not doesnt affect it, it all depends on what firmware your service provider has decided to install on your phone. A firmware flash should do it, but i dont know about CHANGING the animation, it only puts the usual se startup animation on it.
