> Whos is Changing their P900 for a P910i

yes, I think its clear from previous discussions that its not the update we might have expected but there are still some of us for whom some of the changes are useful or interesting and there are some of us who just want the latest

products regardless of any other factor. sad maybe, but true

Ok guys, I'm stumped. Do you not SEE the power that a pocket pc can give you? The wonderful things that you can do? The power at your fingertips? Etc. Never mind.
I'm happy for you

I also use a HP 4150 pocket pc, and its my preferred handheld device so I don't disagree with you there, but that doesn't mean I don't want to also use a P910
actually I'm looking forward to upgrading the 4150 to the new VGA and touchpad capable 4700 series as soon as its available. it also has pocketpc 2003 SE (second edition) which now, finally, natively supports landscape mode, although I have been using a 3rd party utility for that previously
even in the pocketpc world you have to wait a long time to get what you want too

Previous than reading this post I was considering buying a P910. I have a T610, but I feel it is time to change as my needs developed more in the direction of what a P910 might offer. There are however some limitations in the specs that, although not important from a purely business point of view, made me think twice and eventually will make me wait longer before buying a PDA phone.
Particularly:
Camera resolution
Overall measurements
Polyphonic
SW support (I have to say Symbian is good but the lack of Word Excel and PPT editing options is a major problem)
For these reasons I think I will go for a smaller yet good phone as S700 is and wait until SE releases a different version (not a partial upgrade) of their Pxxx series.
I know that I might consider buying an SPV or other Windows based smartphone, but I really like SE's features and overall tech quality so I will wait for them to release something (of course monitoring competitors because I cannot wait a lot longer).

I will wait for P910. I am an early adopter for P800, and I sold it after 6 months. Right before I wanted to buy P900, I read about P910. So, I am waiting for it .........

I wonder why they do not incorporate gsm/gprs in ipaqs
I have been reading about this hype almost 3 years now.
The most convincing excuse that I heard for the delay is the battery problems, but even so why is HP not proceeding with only gsm at the beginning
As I cannot carry and smartfone and pocket pc on me, I will always choose the fone for obvious reasons but I definitely look forward for ipaq with gsm/gprs
