I dont understand why that is an excuse for this limitation.
It is not about asking for some more PDA kind feature, but for asking to do away with a limitation which seems totally unnecessary in the first place. If the device has a lot of functions / apps etc which have nothing to do with your phone, why dont you let it start?
I've seen such behaviour with many phones. Probably there is a reason, and probably someone will enligten us with that knowledge.
sorry excuses which simply say shut up dont serve much to this effect
