I think if SE can design it such that we can change simm cards like how we change the memory stick, then it might just solve the issue...

I keep my spare duo in my wallet also in the "wee" pouch as just described. I'm thinking about carefully filing down... the credit-card-sized-card (no better name for it) that contained my SIM card.
It's slightly too small, but if I widen the whole I could manage to pop the duo inside it and put that in my wallet. A lot safer than it being "loose" in my wallet, and maybe a bit of cellotape to keep it in the gap.

i just stick my spare two duos in to my vaja case. its a godsend after p900 lost its fat arse which allowed me to store a duo in the space between battery and back plate.

Ok I got my new test battery in today. it's the one used on the P800. So at first i though i'd try to sand down the plastic and hope it would be enough to be replaced by a spare MS Duo. I sanded alot.
But the plastic turned out to be quite thin and i sanded through eventually. So i clipped the excess off with some scissors and ended up with this.
Here's where i run into my question. Is it ok to use the battery without the plastic casing on the back end? The rest of the battery is covered by metal.
Anyway, i'm kinda testing it out now, but i'm a little scared about it. I don't see why it would be a prob though. Batteries like AA and C batteries don't have a plastic casing do they? What's the difference? So i put the Duo under the case like this...
... and then put everything back together...
.... any comments???

don't worry. i want people's opinions. I know it's really messy and if i were to try again i would do a much better job. the reason it turned out so bad is b/c i tried to sand it. But really, i don't care much how it looks cuz no one will see it. it is hidden. I just wanna know if there are any real risks.

What grade of sandpaper did you use? I'm also wondering if the stick will get too hot and melt.
