hehe. i dont have 10k for a mobile phone (i wish i could)
So should I settle for T230 ? Are there any problems (reception, sound quality, navigation speed, battery...) with this model ?
There is this one issue that i have read a lot eleswhere - somehow T230 user manage to get some dust behind the screen and its impossible to clean it. well i am not sure for how true is this - but seems it is a common problem. What are the opinions of other T230 users on this.
Except for java T230 seems to be a nice piece of hardware to buy.
yeye i am going to sony world - mumbai to check out the phones soon

yoohoo !
plasmadog i am not a DIGIT subscriber. but what i have read elsewhere is motorola/samsung/benq and other brands in india are cheap and offer more features but are not that reliable. they have serious issues like slow navigation speed, they hang, color screens are not bright...so i want to stay with SE/Nokia
Also my last question is about software/games for this phone. Is it easy to get ringtones/pictures/games for this model ? Since i dont want to download these things (network operators charge a lot for such stuff - and i dont want to waste my parents money for nothing) is it possible to buy a CD from somewhere within mumbai and upload it from computer to mobile phone ?

Of course you can upload from pc to mob,for that you need a datacable, you can get cds with ring tones and stuff from mumbai i think.so dont 4get to get the datacable.
Since we all can support you ,ringtones and wallpaper must not be a prob.:-)

The T230 is a great low end phone. The only thing to crib about it is the low resolution screen. And it cannot be synced with a PC. But you can download ringtones and wallpapers for free if you have gprs. No need to pay money for ringtones. There are many fee sites. Overall i would rate the T230 higher than the blokia 6610 which is a 'so called high end phone. I have used both. God i love my T230 so much!

Yeah i said we con't sync it. But i haven't tried uploading or downloading. Get the communicam if you can. Its fun. The dust problem is another thing to crib about. But some models can be found without that problem. My friend's T230 hasn't got the dust problem. This phone has a recorder too. Overall T230 is a great buy.

Hey its ok dude! I guess at sony it would be a little expensive. But you can't really tell which has the dust problem and which doesn't. Another good point about the T230 is that its ringtones sound good. It doesn't have those irritating increasing ring which some older SEs had.
