Well...iŽd avoid the SE services...try another repair shop, so they can examine your phone...if the SE services detect humidity in your phone, even if you donŽt say them it fell in the water, youŽll loose your warranty

And I'm sue even if I find one they'll surely mess up the phone

If you feel confident enough, I'd take the phoen apart then put it on top of your monitor, let the individual components (especially the PCB) dry out thoroughly. Then, put the phone back together and pray - I'm afraid that water damage is pretty much irreversable unless you catch it early enough and dry everything out completely.

I read somewhere in the swedish magazine Mobil, that at some service points they put the PCB and all components in 98% spirit on 24 hours.... have read it, so I reccomend you don't try... I will take no responsibility...

I was getting out of the car in a hurry and it was raining, was carrying some papers too, phone slipped! Fell in muddy pool of water
After drying yesterday till, the fogging problem did not appear. The phone seems fine. For saftey sake I've again let it dry on the monitor. The question is will it affect later on???

Ah I see, as I've said have it cheked at your SE Service point but of course try to find out first if they will honor the warranty even if the phone was dropped in water.

I don't think theyy'll honour the warranty. Best I can do is plead them to once check the phone and tell me if it is fully dry and is there any possible corrosion. I will not open by myself, it may get me in further trouble

This happened TWICE with my T68i..! And it survived and works 100% to this day...
Firstly, let the phone dry, I blow dried mine, which helped somewhat, but don't blowdry for too long (I thought I smelled burning at one point
)...
Secondly, get something sharp like the end of a paperclip and scratch the contacts of your battery... I thought my T68i had died, until I tried my second battery and found out that the connection terminals on my first battery were corroded...
Thirdly, for about the next 3 days the display kinda have a cloud... It's the water residue and the heat from the display... It will eventually dissapear, or you could unscrew the cover (if you know how to) to clean it more thoroghly...
hmm, how did this happen you ask..? Well the first time I had put my T68i in my swim shorts, decide to randomly jump into the pool and swim 2 laps before sitting on the pool steps (still underwater). At this point I look underwater and see my T68i underwater lying on the bottom step whilst it changes from the standby screen to the clock screensaver... Needless to say, I scream in shock and start the 'revival' procedures above...
The 2nd time I was walking a friends dog near this kinda fountain (it was a low fountain near to the ground), and the dog saw a bird, decided to push me over (the bird was behind me) and caused me to fall into the fountain... You could only imagine how mad I was at the dog !!! lol...
BUT!! So far I have been lucky with my T610, as it has not had any water related accidents (knock on wood)...
Anyways hope this helps and it doesn't reach you too late... If it does, then this is bound to happen again, and other ppl can use it as a guide...
