I don't think so. Since the f series is exclusively for vodafone. There would be a slight difference in their software also.

k500 11mb
k700 41mb
I know it's a tad off topic but...
I was just reading some spec on the new Motorola V3 Razor, and that has 5.5MB internal memory, with no expandable slots. F500 beats it in that respect.
Ludicrous!

For a basic comparation between the SE K700 and the SE K500, take a look at
Mobile phones - Sony Ericsson K700i / Sony Ericsson K500i.
Note that K500 lacks Bluetooth!

surely you could walk into a cpw etc. and ask for a k500 on vodafone, because technically they are two completely different models - the only problem with that would be if vodafone didnt stock any k500s so you'd have to buy a f500 but then again who'd want to buy vodafone stuff anyway! imho you should get a k700 on o2 online, and regain your bluetooth, radio, and most importantly, lose the tacky vodafone icons!

i think i will buy k500i cause its still a good phone for me.(cannot afford k700) plus it has 12 mb and i can live with that because my t610 has only two so its not so bad

the k500 as I told is an enlightened k700,so if you can't afford a k700 of course go and buy a k500

but if you can wait till Christmas for a lowered k700 price (320-350 euros)...
