Yes, you need to get an gum eraser and very carefully wipe the paint off. The way I got mine off without a leftover shiny spot was to let the eraser particles accumulate and bit by bit the logo started to disappear. What you're trying to do is get the eraser particles to build up just enough so that it acts like sandpaper... .
This way of doing it may take you several minutes to see the results so be patient and don't scrub it hard or you will ruin the plastic!
The eraser by the way has to has to be one just like this...
