You are going to install a driver for the Prolific PL-2303 which is the main component of the DCU cable, or any 3rd party USB data cable.
In fact that keyspan adapter contains the same PL-2303 chip, as there is only 1 commercially available USB-Serial(RS232) chip.
You can also try the BAFO BF-800 USB1.1-Serial Adapter. It comes with MAC OS 10.1.X and 10.2.X drivers.

It sells for around USD15. At least for Windows, the drivers of all these different brands are interchangeable.
