The f500i is vodafone only and the k500i is all other networks.

You can use mp3s as ringtones i think.

The casing is different.

Basically both phones are the same

HI I own a f500 and it wont allow me to use the mp3 files as ringtones. I contacted vodafone about it and apparently they are looking into a firmware update or something. The only differances as far as i can tell are physical as in the different colour and different menus. I didnt really do much research into it and i probably would have rather bought the k500. Just tryin to figure out how to unlock this one now...

There was a thread about the use of mp3s in the vodafone versions and they won't allow you to use those unless you buy it from them-they pay royalities for the songs.that's the reason you can't use the player. This message was posted from a T610
