@jamesward - I guess there's no need for you to get yourself a spare/second battery, if you have a private car, a car batter charger will already do Unless, if you are a heavy fone user mate If you'll try having a spare one, the scenario will be that after a year or so, you'll have 'two' - dead batts with you (when they become totally drain due to wear and tear) ! Good Luck !

DSS-25 is the same electronics as the DSS-20 in a nicer looking pod...

perhaps some non-original BUT 100% compatible batteries made by other companies than SE will give us interesting stuff for the k700i,no?

here

although I don't know what kind of performance they give, for £2.50, I wouldn't expect much.

@Ewok - cheers buddy

@JN I do have an unofficial car charger, but when I go away I don't have my car. I may just steal my father's world plug, that'd work. Can anyone send me a photo of what plugs are in France?

Also, what, apart from charging, does the CDS-11 do, and does the K700 fit on it (allowing for the rubber contact cover - which I think is a brilliant idea, my T610's contact went green...)

You can get a SE mini travel charger as well.

My apologies here mate, but I don't live in France, but only in Manila . . . But I do love 'French' Fries minus Jacque Chirac !

I ordered a new battery and a desktop charger from Ebay for little over £5. Now I'm no fool... and I really do think the battery may be genuine. It looks good, has a born on date, proper hologram etc. And crucially, when the battery is in the phone and is plugged in it says "optimised charging". Going back a bit to my T610, when I have a non-SE battery inside and plug it in to charge it just says "charging".

And lastly, the battery life is, if anything, better than my original SE battery which came with my phone.

Just had the update, seems to be working, as well as adding 'mark several' on the 'more' of the inbox, not that i'll really use it, I think.
