I've tried toothpaste (mild abrasive) but that seems to have removed some of the (gently tinted) coating so I guess I've now *gotta* find a new part. I'll have a look at Cnn.cn - thx...

This week's issue of Nuts recommends Baking Soda toothpaste to remove scratches on CD's so im assuming it would be the same for somthing less delicate such as a mobile screen...
