My moto v400 (v300 quad band version). But it was "repaired" by my service provider (Cingular USA). They are no better either. It's frustrating. I'm waiting on the z500 release!

I'm using the a630 at this time (prototype) and one thing that truly annoys me is that sometimes I'll send a text message and I'll get a reply that it could not be sent. Upon opening my outbox, the text is there but it's blank and it can't be opened. It goes crazy after that. I have to delete the text and type a new one... really annoying. The v400 has serious problems in regards to the earpiece. A lot of no sound issues on that phone. As soon as the s700 is out, it's "Goodbye Moto!"

I'm an American born Mexican that knows the difference between quality and garbage. Motorola has taken steps in improving their phones but are still behind Sony-Ericsson and even Nokia in terms of quality. I'd used the v phones and really liked them if it wasn't for their quality issues. Our carrier has discountinued the v600 (after having it for only 2-3 months) due to faulty RF in one of our US bands.

RF is that the signal :-) ive not got probs with that, I really like the MP3 tones on my phone infact there the reason im holding onto that phone until another with those is available if such was available now id sure flog it on ebay or swap with someone! Btw a new housing and software touch up and its top notch again ;-)

The v series phones have good RF but Cingular's version of the v600 came with faulty RF on the 850mhz band and therefore was discontinued. It should be replaced by the v551 by Christmas. The SE z500 has all of these features (video recording, dual color display (4096 outside/ 65000 inside), mp3 ringtones, themes, EDGE, VGA camera w/ 4x zoom, etc) but uncharacteristicly, it has no bluetooth

i played with a v710 at my company just recently. we were testing it. i like it a lot! for a moto that is!
it is one of the few moto phones that i like. the 262k screen is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! such detail and bright display, it is excellent. it is also fast and the send/end keys are in the proper places with send on right and end on left.
moto is definitely improving with the e398, v710, a630 and a few others but they are not yet close (IMO) to nokia and SE. i just hope its not too late for them.
