I find the nokia 7610 a bit camp (gay) looking... Not there's anything wrong with that, but it would be so much better if it had a more t630 (black) look!

well i am not suprised if 7610 and p900 are being compared, because 7610 seem to be the top nokia phone for the moment especially here in our country, but i don't think that 7610 outshines the great p900, you dont have to fret bro for you've got one of the best phones...p900 is definitely the sure winner for me-big screen, has infrared connectivity(7610 doesn't!!!!), video recording is limited to the memory (7610 is only 10 mins), has document viewers, coolest themes!!!, plus outstanding battery performance...what else could you ask for...feature wise, p900 rules...though a 1 megapixel is a nice feature of the 7610, but i don't think that alone could win the honor, it certainly depends on ones taste of a phone...anyway, s700 is another great fone to come out in the fourth quarter...i just can't wait!!!!

s700 is not a smartphone but it is has great built-in features that you need, no need to download from a third party just like we do in smartphones...s700 rules!!!!...i could not say it's an alternative for any phone because it a unique phone...just can't wait to have one...i'm planning to purchase a k700i or a 7610, but fourth quarter is near, so i'd better wait for the s700...i'm sure it's woth it...heheheeh...

I think design is what moves people most in buying a phone. I don't like the design of the 7610, neither the K700. That's just personal and you can't compair it.

i dont think nokia and se should merge, nokia are too commercial, se are more professional, business type phones. I haven't had a nokia phone for 6 years, and I dont want one. People always seem to have trouble with their nokia phones. SE have always been reliable. The reason that guy had one up on me, was probably because he knew about my phone, I had no idea what 7610 limitations and capabilities were.

im not defending the phone, but with bluetooth dongles, and most phones being bluetooth compatible, maybe IR isn't needed as much anymore. Glad my p900 does both though!

well, i dont know about you but im pretty unhappy with the build quality of my p800: squeeky sounds of the casing, jog dial up and camera button not working... all of my sony products have broken buttons, i think its a disgrace, other companies make much better quality plastic. This and the *slowness* of SEs implementation of UIQ are my only complaints of the still best device on the market.

don't have any of those problems with my P800 and its alomost 1.5years alot.
i don't like the new SE phones either. because of the design, features wise there good, but they need to lauch more phones for a diffirent range of custumors. nokia is indeed to comercial and there phones aren't good at all, even there so called top phones 6230/7610 are very poor. market wise i think samsung will soon overtake nokia in sales. moto will become technology freaks favorite brand because of the mpx phones, although the idea of windows OS holds back some people (and i can understand that ). siemens is trying real hard to get some good sales, cause there not making profit, sure they sell, but they sell low ends phones, nothing else then lowend phones. as for SE to be honest. the T610 marked the begining of the new brand (people really discovered it) but also the end of nice swedish designs and inovation.
