hmm..i will take as a handicap about the antena..but for me it looks more elegant than SE... i'm thinking of selling my P800 to purchase that 6315...at least it beat p800..d u agree?

the huge antenna is because it has wifi, i think it looks ok but prefer the look of my 5450, even if that one is smaller. Also people won't buy it as a phone, they will still buy it as a PPC/PDA. I also think you would look a bit weird holding that up to your ear due to the size of it. might be the best PDA/PPC on the market, but it won't beat the best of the mobiles, in the phone market.

the article really NEVER states the antenna is for wi-fi the writer isn't sure if its for that option or for the cell phone calling use and besides its not the first HP pda to have such big antenna...and imho i rather carry a P910 in my pocket than this big paper weight any day!!

1. Symbian OS is better suited for the mobile app market. Mainly because there are more symbian compatible softwares out there than the pocket pc software.
2. most symbian software available is freeware, whereas its really hard to find freeware pocket pc software. (i have personally experienced it, cos i use a PPC device)
3. when it comes to the mobile market, i think SE have way more experience and dexterity than HP. main reason, they've been in the mobile arena for this long.
4. pricing/support/looks... p910 is better imho.

2. That, i have to agree with U.
But at least most of the stuff there will transfer to the PC easily, since I use a Windows based PC anyway...
3. U cant base a judgement upon how long a company has been in the market...
4. a) Pricing : U are wrong. The HP will retail for RM 2700++ if I'm not mistaken (it was in the newspapers yesterday) while the P9xx retails for around Rm 2700 ~ RM2900 here in Malaysia... There goes the price advantge of the P900 ...
b) Support? Its a matter of personal experience IMHO
c) Looks: I like the HP better, except the antenna, i can use it to poke someone...
5) The P910 still doesn't have WiFi ...
The HP has WiFi and SDIO...

's lineup for this year sucks... They are taking the concept of cutting costs too far... They are just using the same parts and manufacturing sequences/machines to produce similar products that have been optimised to the max, nothing new...
Guess they are saving up for next year, where I've heard they are gonna chnge the platform ?
Next year they could have a great lineup tho...

IMHO, the P9xx just doesn't cut it anymore. If they do lower the price by a considerable sum, it would be a different story though... In my eyes, the p9xx ain't top of the food chain anymore ... bear in mind the MPX is on the horizon too...
