I have 2 k700 and 2 t200 and their are different too, one is brighter than the other

as far as i know (ask SE center at my town)
they said my k700i (the white ones) is older than the purple one... (from productions)
and FYI, the purple one has a longer battery lifetime that the white one...

Wondered the same thing. But more to the point, since you can change the keypad (google for k700 shells), can you change the LED? That would rule.

I had also noticed the difference in backlight colour on the T39m. My T39m had a different shade of green than my cousin's T39m.

You could go to you service point and ask them to change the led's to some other color, as they had on the t68 and t68i (from white to blue or visa versa)

this problem aint just to do with sony ericsson. about 2 yrs ago me and my mate both went into Phones4u to by a nokia 3510i when it was first released (how happy i was and now i cant beleive i even wanted 1 at the time) we both turned em on - and where as my screen balance was about rite - white was white and not to dark/light - hers was really dark so much so that the white looked abit yellow. Phones4u said there was nothing wrong with the phone, thats just how it goes
