Its never a bad decision if it suits you. Not everyone has same needs.
If you are not going to regret it, let not others' opinion make any difference. However I appreciate the thread itself since it gets us to know what needs people generally have.
I would have kept with my P900. I already have a canon powershot for pics etc... but use my P900 also to a good extent

@chinta_c - Looks like you've 'sliced' your SE P900 with two items mate

! I guess it's a fair deal, unless, if you've gotten a little cash more aside from the 2 items you have now

The T39m is a nice fone (even though it's an oldie') . . . There's just an ongoing thread right now here at esato, praising that fone model

I guess one of the things you'll miss with your SE P900 is that you can directly send the image to an email address or to a friend who has an MMS capable fone once the image is captured from the P900's cam

The T39 is a very good phone (if you manage to get your hands on a problem-free unit.)
If you're really after a good camera, then you wouldn't want to consider phone cameras because as they stand now, they're quality is not comparable to any real digital cameras.
To change your avatar, click
here. It would be the third option from the bottom. The dropdown selection says "T39m black" (sic) - that's the only T39 avatar available. I really would have preferred Ice Cap Blue.

Well the t39m is a great phone and as long as you stay with SE I don't see a problem. You obviously don't need the functionality of it. Other peeps use a regular phone and a PDA too and are happy. The marketing machine just tries to convince you that you need all devices in one.

Just for an exchange to buy a Ericsson T39m and
a Sony CyberShot T1 (T39m-250Rm; T1-1900Rm)
(250rm=54.1973Euro 1900Rm=411.899Euro)
Well did i make a good choice? or have i disappoint you all.
But please understand. The P900 camara were crap and no better
that P910 or whatsoever. But i understand that it is not a MP cam
but at least to some extend would be nice....
hey no hard feeling, I still stick to Ericsson Phone
with 5mp cool Sony Cybershot mini camera
and as ever Nokia Suc***K
You did a good bargain and the T39m is a good phone so dont you worry. Unless you dont miss the applications that the P900 can handle, then you did the right choice.

U made a very good decision! Now u have a great fone and a camera. Nice to see, that instead of usually complaning u dared to make the right step. Fones are for making calls and some extra features are welcome, cams are for making quality pix. T39! Music for my ears! Take care of it, it will serve u well!
