Lordmike sure is for gsm but it looks a bit dated and i think all sophisticated phones have already overcome ant1
further ipaqs are not known to crowd as pocket pcs and not smartfons and without the ant1, ppl will defenitely not regard it as phone

OK, so far the phone is great, bluetooth with my Jabra is great. It finds any WiFi hotspot perfectly!
The PDA function is much better than my P900. It sync'd my 3400 contacts in less than 4 minutes...
But I haven't been able to get it to work with my wife's car... Same problem with my P900.
I'm flying out of town again tomorrow and I'll carry it with me.
I'll update everyone again in a few days.

I went to the T-mobile store this weekend and checked one out. Good touch screen, I liked the stylus and the possibilities with pocket Excel, Word and the pdf file viewer are great. Wifi, blue tooth and the choice of browsing on the 850/1900 or 900/1800 band is really cool. Anywhere there is a signal you would get it.

I can't get BT to work too well on the 6315. It won't sync with my car, but neither will my P900.
I figure I'll go to the P910 when it comes out.
I just love how the 6315 syncs. If SE could get that right, I'd be one happy camper!

I have had the Ipaq6315 for a week now. These are the things that do not work for me.
1.) I am running Win98SE and the synch software crashes my Puter. Could not get it work.
2.) Internet access over GPRS does not work so far, even after 3 calls to tech support.
3.) Sometimes the devices lockes up and I have to "reboot". Take the battery out.
4.) The stylus is not tight. Rattles when I shake the phone.
Anybody else has similar probs?

OK, as much as I like it, BT sucks!
It seems that BT is a function of the PDA. But the PDA goes to sleep after a few minutes and when you're getting a call it takes 45 seconds to wake up! So it's worthless for answering calls unless you're using it at the time.
Even then it loses sync with your BT headset and often needs to be soft reset.
Honestly, if my P900 would work with my car, I would stick with it.
Maybe the P910? Or a HP iPAQ with a T610.
