you can check my review (see my signature) for a picture taken with extended mode
sorry I don't have access to a 7610 though but perhaps someone else can add that

I'll post a 1MP pic from my 7610 if you want
Do you want it uploaded through esato (reduced size), or linked (full-size)?

just remembered that someone in this forum already compared a 7610 to a k700i camera and showed what a k700 cam looks like. but still not on extended mode.

and the comparison would be a much better one if the same person took the same shot in the same lighting conditions with both cameras, but I guess this will do for starters.
If someone out there has both K700 and 7610 then they can do the better test please

Just took it now, you'll probably notice the focus (centre) of the pic is much sharper than the edges.
1MP from the bottom of my drive
@masseur: It would be much fairer if it was done like you said, but this is the best for the moment. Though i do remember someone on HoFo having both...

I had my k700(*2) for about 1 week in July . I'm afraid I was extremely disappointed as much with the Orange branding as the battery life and sent them back to Orange. After looking around for a while (I really wanted to stick with SE as previously had T68i and T610, both brilliant phones ) I finally decided on the Nokia 7610 with O2 . I can honestly say the camera is sh!t hot and the phone itself is excellent. Standby buttons are easily customized and the large screen is the clearest I've seen. The phone has many excellent features , one of which is the Lifeblog which is a sort of pictorial diary, though there are some of the 30 or so icons I've not even investigated yet. Speakerphone and 10 min video capture are also very useful along with 64mb rsmmc card (upgradeable). O2 are also the best for not branding their phones (very much) .
It's probably not what SE fans want to hear but hey , we're customers not blind followers . If a phone suits you then go for it , whatever the manufacturer. But stay away from Orange if you dont like branding.
