Why do people write like this? Its lazy and confusing to read. Its understandable with text messages, but you have a whole keyboard and no character limit here.
Is it just me or does anyone else find the recent fad for poor broken english and grammer incredibly irritating?

It is indeed irritating although I am myself often guilty of using "u" instead of "you"
PS- Not everyone use Esato from a PC so isn't neccessarily using a keyboard although my stylus seems to do the job!

I find it very irritating! and Yes, the P900/800/910 are Symbian devices.

One word, or rather - 1 wrd:
Lazy bastards.
With Nokia there are all kind of different Series xxx
Series 40, 60, 90...
Shame Symbian got to this stage where its all fragmented.

Syntax, you're not alone! There are (I presume) lots of people out there, including me, who find the murder of the English language extremely disturbing. Unless it's a real emergency and an SOS i needed, why shouldn't one write "your" instead of "ur"? If it's an SMS, I could perhaps be persuaded to appreciate the need for the short form (can't call it an acronym). But the way it's spread in emails and discussion forums, it only leads me to believe some people are a trifle lazy, not wanting to type the whole word.

"Symbian is a software licensing company that develops and supplies the advanced, open, standard operating system – Symbian OS – for data-enabled mobile phones.
Symbian was established as a private independent company in June 1998."
There, from Symbian's official website,
www.symbian.com.
Just visit the website -- all phones running on Symbian OS are listed there. If it's not on their list, it's not a "Symbian" phone.
Most popular:
• Sony Ericsson - P900, P910, P800
• Nokia - all "Series 60" phones, including the N-Gage ones; all "Series 90."
• Siemens - SX1
Non-Symbian phones run on "proprietary OS."
This should give mikLSP some rest.
