Clear glass tends to be green. It's the reflection of the backlight on the very edge of the screen back. You can also see this effect if you tip the phone flat at look to the very top of your screen through the front. You'll see three greenish blobs of light.

(oh ahem - are we meant to be discussing a tiny little green light on the bottom of a phone that is only noticable when you look at it from a weird angle? well my comment is - cool. i didn't now that
gave neon lights as standard with the k700i

the top of my t300 lcd is yellow so the light that you can see at the compete upper edge looks yellow maybe thats the issue on ur k700

Please give more info, i can't see a green LED, only the red on low batt. Also havn't seen this mentioned before.

The power button is translucent therefore the light is more prominent when in darker conditions and viewd from a top down angle, The light is green turning to red when battery i low, The red is brighter and stands out more, The screen is surrounded in metal (the edges are incased in aluminium this cannot be seen however through the phone screen) so no light can escape towards the top of the phone internally. Would you like more information?
It has been mentioned breifely.
Doing a LED test via service menu has the lights flash red then green red then green red then green.......
