I'm using a generic usb cable, but it uses the same chip as the SE, and works ok, it also charges the battery from the usb port, anyone knows if charging with this device can damage my battery?.

Not very effective way, cos its constantly connected to the pc. Its very slow, batts like to be charged on the normal way.

It has a switch for turning the charger on or off, so you can use it charging or not, but I won't use it again because sometimes battery life is shorter than with normal charge.

Where did u get the batt?Can u look again at the label to give us a name?I am interested in performance cuz a non-original 1000mah batt's will give u the same performance as the 770mah SE.If u confirm that the bigger 1's better i'll get 1 myself.
