No, I really hope somebody can help us out here. Perhaps the developer himself. I really want to start playing Monkey again, but not without a save feature!

You had to change the save path in the game's options, and not only in escumm options...
It is to say that you had to edit the game you've just install, ad change the path, not using the "default" one...

yeah just change it in the game and in escumm and it works fine... took me a whole 5minutes to figure it out after doing part of indina jones on christmas day lol
