Tell that to a friend of mine... He has 850 sms stored on his 6600. And it would be a great idea for sonyericsson to remove the SMS memory restriction.. I don't see it taking much time to load inbox even when 90 msgs are stored.

Totally agree.

I'm not one to use all the memory any (got 10mb left).
I haven't got any probs with the phone apart from being a constant texter ...and now a constant deleter

i have a P900 and can fit as many texts on there as i feel the need!

my max was 2500 i think ex sent items!!!

my cant my k700 do this i have 31mb of free mem doig sweet fa!

id like to fill it, with texts?

Surely there's a way to transfer texts you want to keep from the phone to your pc - perhaps via bluetooth, data cable, or fma?

This drives me nuts too. They need an Archive option for SMSs, which would copy a message to a Messages folder in the 41MB and delete it from the optimized Inbox and Sent items. That way we won't care if they only stores 100 messages combined.

Hell, how about just a "Reply and delete" option? How hard can that be?
