Have you been late paying a bill? If you have, they have probably partially disabled the functions on your sim, call your service provider and check it out. Vodafone are particularly bad for it. I get it all the time, maybe i should just remember to pay my bills on time!

I have the same problem (can't send new text although oddly I can reply) and its the second K700i I've been sent with the same problem. I doubt its the SIM as it's fine on other phones.
Any suggestions
