Really? I thought they started in the tens of thousands, i didnt know you could get them so "cheap". Do you still get the concierge service?

Vertue is a status symbol, a rather poor one at that. The sort of people who own a Vertue strike me as being nouveau riche, plenty of money, but little class. One should never flaunt one's wealth like that. Of course there is nothing wrong with owning nice things, but to be quite honest, a Vertu does not strike me as being 'nice'; rather it comes across as being vulgar, over priced and designed to appeal to those who feel the need to 'put on a display'.

@mustu

I did not mean any offence towards you with my statement above, nor was it directed at you. I do fully accept that some people may very well think that Vertu are good phones with pleasing aesthetic qualities, but I felt I had to make my views clear.

maybe like a jag or an aston martin, if the vertu did something truly mind blowing (i'm not thinking of butlers here), maybe i'd buy it.
but, if it looks good on the outside and crap inside.. i don't see the point in splurging any amount of money on it!

any sales figures for them vertus?

Vertu is like an overpriced ferrari with a lawnmower motor.

I agree with the two previous posters, if the Vertu had the performance to back it's pricetag up i wouldn't have any problem with it but the phone can just by a margin compete with a SE T105..

I wouldn't say it's a Ferrari with a lawnmover engine, it's a f**k...g lavnmover with a Ferrari pricetag....

I say its bling bling. One of the most "bling" things all these bling types want is an Audi TT, and they aint the best around either. Whats the deal with that? I think i've figured bling out. Looks good, but is really average. Is that it?

@meths - got it in one. It's how to spend a lot of money and still manage to totally lack class. Look at all those 'bling' morons who have far too much jewellry on and wear Burberry. You don't look classy, you look like a football hooligan

Edit: Or even worse, a footballer
