Ordered one yesterday from CPW Direct in the UK. Just arrived!!! Now have to wait 4 hours for the battery to charge before I can play with it. Anyone know if I can whack my P800 battery in it so I can start now?

Read this thread, took risk and got to my local CPW at openeing time 10am, asked if they had one and YES
Could have had SIM free, on Voda or O2
Went for £35 O2 contract with P910i costing £160. I'll change to my usual tariff in six months.
The phone is unlocked/uncustomised and I tried it with my Orange SIM and its great (contract over 12 months dropping after 6 and considering all the free minutes works out better than buying SIM free)
I'm one happy chappy and now I have one I like the look better than the P900. Just ordered a 512MB DUO to go with it

Just to sell my P900 now
Just shows its not always best to pre-order or import. They actually had them in the shop on Friday!!!

@psikey
Congrats. Know how you feel.
I decided to buy SIM free as I had many problems with firmware upgrades with my Orange branded P900. Looks like your P910 may not be "branded" as before and thus you may be able to use the SE update service.

@Jah
Yes, totally unbranded SonyEricsson original. Infact the CPW salesman said none of the phones they have are locked/customised and the one they sold me with the O2 SIM would be the same if they had sold it me SIM free.
Amazed at how easy the keyboard is to write with. Can see it becoming my main data input method.
Apart from trying the keyboard I haven't looked at it yet as I have my "Saturday Jobs" to finish first.

I agree with about the keyboard - so many people have claimed that it is just a novelty and not functional. I hold my P910 in my left hand (with the keypad resting in the palm of my left hand) and use my fingers of my right hand to input text via the keypad - sometimes I place the thumb of my right hand under the keypad to give it extra stability.

I did the same and got one from Sutton .. I think it is a great phone, but never had a P800/900 so don't know if it is a good upgrade. another vote for the keyboard, Screen is clear even through a protector. Just bigger phone than I am used to .. lots of fun to come though I am sure.
