@Arre: Actually the Z700 was already proposed a good while ago

and was discontinued for lack of demand or some reason, I can't really see them bringing up an old model name/number, for a new product

maddav,
That Z700 is indeed an old one with colour display of only 256 colour and it has absolutely not any near the same features as the K700i. This form factor is not a clamshell, it is a flip phone.

Arre is in this business so he would know about that.

If SE doesn't realease F700 soon, the sales on K700 will drop even faster, now with powerfull competitors like Nokia 6670 and Motorola E398 (and Razor).

Valentiner,
I guess you don't know the price of Motorola RAZOR but that one cost almost twice as much as the Sony Ericsson K700i. You only pay for the very special design and material while it still is behind the K700i in terms of features. Motorola E398 does not have the same quality of the K700i and it is also a bigger handset with some problems, that handset only wins in sounds while K700i has and edge over this phone in almost every aspects. Nokia 6670 is more expensive than K700 and also has the magnificent ugliness (my opinion). It is aimed to different segment but people in this segment will prefer Sony Ericsson P910 even if that one is more expensive.

E398 also beats K700 in battery and also in the memory section (it has memory slot unlike K00). As to problems, K700 has plenty as well

I highly doubt in that actually, the battery is better with the new firmware update. In memory, yes!

Where in Australia are you from?
I'm going to work in Melbourne for five months and I don't know anything about that city except from a few things like, it's the second biggest city and the name of the state i Victoria.

I dont mean the old canceled z700.
I mean the z600 successor. "Z700"
Will go on sale in late november early december.
before christmas sales. The Z600 is to old.
and the Z500 is more like a z200 successor.
cheers
