I use r2b 025 too. I am sure the problem is phone software related cos I work for a mobile operator and I know the network didn't change. before the MMS upgrade the GPRS was very stable. :( This post was posted from a T68i

My problems almost never occur when I have already started using GPRS. My problems occur when I want to start using wap when I haven't been doing it for a while. Turning the phone off and on again usually helps, but this takes too long. This is very irritating since it is usually when I want to check the subway time-table and I am on the run --- I don't then have time to turn my phone off and on.

Our 4 upgraded t68 has that problem. Our t68i with R2A014 never have that problem. Tried testin it side by side including my t39 and only the units with R2B025 has gprs problem; this happens when the gprs signal is weak; i hav posted ths situation right aftr the upgrade This post was posted from a T68i

@cadcad:

Yes, I have tried that too, sometimes that is quicker. But usually I am so frustrated so I want to "do something about it", and then the powercycling feel more satisfying.

Anyway: I guess we can now conclude that a bug has been introduced in R2B025 that wasn't there in R2B014. Or are there any people out there who WAP a lot over GPRS on R2B025 and does'nt have these problems?

My problems occur about once a day.

By the way:

I have a T68i, shouldn't I have R2A025 and not R2B025?

Confused.

By the way: CyTech just told us in another thread that the new software (R2E004 or something) might solve the gprs bug. This post was posted from a T68i

I hear that the new software r2e... or something out, but as I hear this software is for t68i not for upgraded t68m. Has anybody successfully uploaded the new software into a t68m -> t68i phone or it isn't possible? Has anybody experience with new soft? This post was posted from a T68i

Weak gprs signal will cause that gprs hanging. R2A014- Old sw but gprs stable. R2B025- Buggy new sw, includes sms-id problem This post was posted from a T68i
