i wish i cud but i there isnt an o2 network where i live.
i was planning to get one of my relatives livin in england to buy one cancel the contract unlock the phone then send it to me but this buying the contract thing seems questionable.

It would probably cost you less just to buy it SIM free to be honest. The cost of buying out a contract is basically one's montly line rental multiplied by the number of months still left of the contract (in this case, tweleve months). If one bought a S700 on a £75 per month contract then that would add up to £900 to buy one's contract out, pluss the initial cost of the S700, which would give a total not too far off £1,000; for that one could buy two SIM free!

there is an advert in this months fhm for the s700 on vodafone. no mention of prices but if u buy in october you get 900 free picture messages but only if u take out an 18 month contract. 18! is that gonna b the norm now? if youre gonna be tied to an 18 month instead of 12 contract, i hope they give you the phone free!
