I guess having a Z1010 opens up a new chapter...in that I mean UMTS. So depending which network you will end up using then you will be able to get broadband speeds with your Z1010 via your laptop/pda.

Plus like you posted before the memory stick duo is also a bonus. And if you are looking for what I know call a "rare" phone then hey Z1010 it should be.

@scotsboyuk Oppsss missed that, well then I would stick away from the Z1010 as it will not be very stable on the GSM network...so you are down to one option then...GOODLUCK

@themarques

It's a shame the Z1010 hasn't been given a fighting chance in the UK, it would almost certainly have proved to be a great success.

@scotsboyuk Had they even just released it a month ago it would have made a hell of a difference..I really wonder what is the true story behind the delay. I know everybody has this conspiracy theory....

I am wondering if Orange will continue with its plans to unveil it or will they do a lastminute.com swap and go for the V800?

Since I've already tried and tested and plan of selling my SE K700i, I'll go for the SE Z1010 this time!

i don't know why...although most of the people here said to go for the k700...but i feel like falling in love with that thick phone z1010...i know i am not going to use the 3G in my country......the problem is the expense....it will cost much more than the k700 because of being a 3G phone.....i am in a mess ! cannot descide
